Duality is a theme that runs deep within the DNA of Ruffian. Whether it be the inherent collaborative nature of our design process, the melding of tailored and feminine or the opposing inspirations which fuel our collections season after season, A Concerto for Two is a culmination of these syntheses and juxtapositions.

The collection's visual dialogue began while viewing bronze sculptures of Henry Moore set against the backdrop of English estates. This poetic co-inhabitance of formality and modernism struck a cord which resonated deep within both of us. Whether it be the merging of like textiles in different scales in one garment, the exploration of painterly verses digital plaids, or the black and bronze metallic leathers tailored in to Neo-Victorian shapes, the collection follows the journey of the modern woman's need for both warmth and familiarity as well as cool, razor- sharp tailoring.
